    Dass ganz viele Events dieses Jahr storniert werden, hast du wahrscheinlich schon mitbekommen. Als konkrete Info habe ich für dich: Die Forró sailing week 2020 ist auf 2021 verschoben. Neue Daten müssten sein: 29.05.-05.06.2021. Die Verschiebung wurde so frisch beschlossen, dass sie auf tuvens noch nicht zu sehen ist – aber vielleicht kriegen wir das geupdatet, bis du diese Nachricht liest. Stay save, und viele Grüße aus München

    Vom 30.4. bis zum 2.5 findet in Köln das erste Forró-Bands Festival Europas statt. Das heißt “Toca Bonito”, wird über unseren Forró de Colônia e.V. laufen, und ist von Rudolfo, Terra und Leandro organisiert. Könntet ihr das bitte in den Kalender eintragen? Dankeschön 😀

    Das Forró Festival in Frankfurt im Juli findet vom 3. bis zum 5. Juli 2020 statt und heißt “Forró de Frankfurt Festival”.
    Könnt ihr das bitte ergänzen bzw. aktualisieren?

    Forró im Mai München findet 2020 leider nicht statt. Vielleicht verdient es damit einen Austrag aus der Festival Liste für nächstes Jahr. Oder alternativ eine ‘findet nicht statt’ Absage an Himmelfahrts Datum

    Das Festival “Forró in Vinyl” am 18./19.1.2020 findet in Basel und nicht wie angegeben in Zürich statt. (Sieht man zwar, wenn man auf den Link klickt, aber trotzdem….)

  78. I just want to let you know how much I enjoy this overview of festivals. It is the best overview of forró festivals we have online. And you do an amazing job keeping it up to date. Thank you so much.

    I have lost count of how many times I have forwarded a link to this page.
    Whenever someone in Scandinavia asks me about festivals, or whenever a Brazilian who has no idea how much forró has been growing around the world, I forward this link.
    I just wanted you guys to know how much your work is appreciated.

    oh and by the way, Nice has published the date for their festival Viva esse Forro 2019.

    2. soooo true … i am an american living in brazil . I used this list to dance through 6 festivals listed her . Porto -> Munich !!! Back her in Belo Horizonte , many natives are clueless about their culture thriving in other countries. I always send them this list and youtube videos of the festivals .

    Sarah Stotz hat per Email das nächste Forró camp angekündigt. 11.-18.08.2019 auf Ummaii / Rügen. Zitat aus der Email:

    “I also wanted to give the great notice that we will do the ForróCamp 2019 at the same place in Ummaii. It was so perfect there and the team also really enjoyed our group, so we found a way to make it possible again!

      ich habe das Event jetzt hinzugefügt. Was hier stehen sollte und was nicht ist immer etwas schwierig zu beurteilen. Die Grenzen zwischen Festivals, Marathons und Konzerten mit Workshops verschwinden mittlerweile. Alle möglichen Forró Veranstaltungen können hier nicht abgebildet werden. Aber ab wann ist ein Festival ein Festival!?

      1. Danke für die Rückmeldung. Ich habe es für eintragenswert erachtet, weil es ein ganzes Wochenende mit Parties, Workshops und Konzerten ist. Auch wenn es nur 100 Teilnehmer geben soll, erfüllt es alle Ansprüche, die ich an ein Festival habe.
        Und eines hat es auf jeden Fall mit den Festivals gemeinsam: ich freue mich schon sehr darauf.

    1. Hallo Yvonne, wir haben immer wieder die Frage was für Events wir in die Liste aufnehmen. Das von dir beschriebene Event entspricht aber nicht der Beschreibung Forró Festival. Deshalb werde ich es nicht aufnehmen. Viel Erfolg für euer Event.

    Estou me programando para passar 4 semanas na Europa, de 26-10 a 26-11 e gostaria muito de participar dos festivais de forro que estarão rolando por ai nesse período.
    Já participei de vários festivais aqui no Brasil como professora assistente, produtora, etc.
    Me disponibilizo para participar de todas as formas possíveis.

    da für mich im November ein Besuch in Birmingham ansteht, habe ich bei den Forró-Freunden in Birmingham nachgefragt, ob es dieses Jahr wieder ein Forró-Wochenende dort gibt. Hier die Antwort:
